There’s no doubt that working in a shop causes the creation of quite a bit of dust. Whether you’re dealing with metal shavings, sawdust, or other particulates, it’s important to have a plan for cleaning your space and ensuring your work area stays safe and dust-free. FEIN offers two core vacuum models designed to assist you with this process.
Deciding which FEIN vacuum is right for you largely hinges on your specific dust-removal needs.
FEIN’s Vacuums in Action
Both FEIN Turbo dust extractors offer the benefit of German engineering and manufacturing with innovative design and proven durability. These FEIN vacuums are safe for both wet and dry vacuuming and feature a connection for power tools. Both models include a suction hose, a coupling tool with suction control, a fleece filter bag, and a cellulose filter. Additionally, FEIN’s vacuums are powered by a 1100 watt motor that delivers a 151 cfm flow rate and 98.4 inches of water lift.
The primary difference between the FEIN Turbo 1 and the FEIN Turbo 2 is the size and capacity of the units. The Turbo 1 FEIN vacuum weighs 17.9 lbs. and has a 5.8 gallon capacity, while the Turbo 2 FEIN vacuum weighs 20 lbs. and has an 8.4 gallon capacity. The two machines are otherwise identical when it comes to performance and design, though the Turbo 2 will naturally take up a little bit more vertical space to accommodate the larger storage capacity.
FEIN has been an industry leading manufacturer of high quality power tools since it invented the power drill in 1895. These are high-end precision machines manufactured for the most discerning of craftsmen.
